Blueberry Peanut Butter Smoothie
I've been drinking this smoothie all week and it is amazing! Quick and easy for on-the-go mornings, you can drink this smoothie in the car on your way to work and it will give you all the nutrients you need - natural sugars, healthy fats, fiber, and protein. Especially great after a hard workout.
Previously I posted a version of this smoothie which included banana and Truvia, but it in an effort to reduce sugars and added fake sugars (Cargill makes Truvia! Gross!), a little tweaking was in order.
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbs unsweetened all natural peanut butter (no sugars added, no palm oils)
- 1 scoop protein powder of your choice, I'm using Raw Meal, Vanilla flavor
- 1/8 cup (2 Tbsp.) raw oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Blend all ingredients until smooth. You will have energy all morning long! And maybe a purple hue?
