Egg White & Epic Bar Scramble
Eating the proper amount of protein at breakfast (25-40g) daily is one of the best ways to re-shape your body and burn fat. Here is a simple way to add more protein and flavor to a basic egg white scramble - dice up an Epic bar and throw it in!
This is a great breakfast (or dinner) for a low-day, also great to have in the morning if you have a party or special occasion that night to stay macro balanced.
- 1 cup liquid egg whites
- 1 Epic Chicken Sriracha bar diced
- 2 leaves Swiss Chard
- 1/4 diced red onion
- Coconut oil spray
Rinse and tear chard into small pieces. Add it to a saucepan and cook over medium heat until wilted. Drain it in a colander and set aside. Once cool, squeeze out excess water and rough chop.
Put saucepan back on stove and lightly spray with cooking spray. Add red onion and cook 3-5 minutes until softened. Pour in egg whites and diced chicken bar. Add cooked chard to scramble. Stir and cook until egg whites are firm, remove to a plate.
Serve with 1 grapefruit for a filling yet light breakfast.
